For sale is a 2008 Ibanez George Benson BG30TH 30th Anniversary Guitar in Gold Foil. One of the most gorgeous guitars we've ever seen. Plays and sounds wonderful. One 30 of these were made and this one comes with all the case candy, the original hard case, and the CoA signed by George Benson himself, pictured with the actual guitar. Shows no signs of use outside of a small finish crack at the end of the binding in the neck pocket as shown in photos. The GB30th is based on Benson's original GB10 model, but has a unique gold foil finish inspired by the Japanese foil craft of garahuku and special fretboard inlays. It features a smallish, single cutaway, full hollow body design with a spruce top with ƒ holes and multi-layer binding and maple back and sides mated to a set-in three-piece maple neck with a large headstock and a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with binding and special pearl anniversary position markers. Components include dual, floating Ibanez GB special humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls; a height-adjustable ebony bridge with special adjustable split trapeze tailpiece; a bone and brass nut; and a tortoise pickguard.
