For sale is a brand new is a heirloom Taylor Custom Gold Label SA Super Auditorium featuring hand picked Adirondack spruce top and AAA Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. We heard about the provate stash Bob Taylor had of Brazilian Rosewood that he had tucked away and last year, they offered up about 20-30 pieces for custom orders. We were THRILLED and when we got to pick our set of Brazilian, we shocked with how gorgeous it was. We've never seen Brazilian this nice, its the creme of the crop. This guitar looks and sounds absolutely fantastic...and again, the sound is simply incredible. It is full and rich, and completely clear. And thats without any sort of break in. We can't wait to hear what this guitar will sound like in 2 months, let alone 2 years! We focused the build to highlight the tone of brazilian in its purest form. Forgoing electronics or cutaway, we added gold label bracing with hot hide glue and the thinnest finish Taylor makes (3.5mm) so the guitar vibrates as much as possible, and it shows. We added small details like koa binding and a figured mahogany neck. All together, it might just be the greatest Taylor we have ever played.
