This extraordinary 50th Anniversary PS14ce LTD boasts a hand-selected Western red cedar top paired with beautifully figured claro walnut back and sides from Bob Taylor’s personal tonewood collection. Balancing cedar’s warmth and responsiveness with walnut’s strong midrange presence, this versatile Grand Auditorium will grow even warmer and sweeter as the wood matures with time and play. Inside, our V-Class architecture provides louder volume and longer sustain while coaxing out more of the essential sonic traits of these premium tonewoods. The result is a guitar that covers a broad range of musical territory, performing equally well in flatpicking, fingerstyle and strumming applications. This model is appointed with some of our most detailed visual touches, including an intricate Byzantine inlay suite for the fretboard, peghead and bridge. It includes ES2 electronics, a built-in TaylorSense unit and a hardshell case.
